Description
This 20 page digital/downloadable printable is split into 3 Sections:
- Planning Ahead
- Applying Learning
- Drawing Conclusions
Included are 15 discussion questions with places to jot down notes as the parents/instructor as you explore the museum. They could also be duplicated for students to write notes to be ready to answer the questions. These can be used for essay questions or just for general conversation after leaving the field trip. They can be used for high schoolers even in AP US History but also adapted for younger children as they cover the main topics of the museum; they have been tested with children ages 5-12 and written by a former high school teacher.
Our absolute must-read favorite books are included. Please don’t shy away from children’s books for teens. They are still a valuable source of information!
There are 4 graphic organizers or note-taking pages for students.
In the planning section there is also current information about parking, rates, and how to get started.
